Anderson County LEPC Executive Committee Meeting - January 8, 2008

1. Call to Order: Tony Hart called the meeting to order. Minutes from the December meeting were approved with one correction.
2. Treasurer’s Report: Janet Murrill reported on the LEPC budget.
3. Committee Reports.
   1. Community Awareness:
      • Anderson County Health Department will be hosting clinic training or area Health Department staff.
      • Planning for a tabletop Pandemic Flu exercise will begin in the next few months.
      • Planning for the Oak Ridge Emergency Management Forum will begin next month.
   2. Emergency Response:
      • FEMA will be training Knoxville area hospitals in Radiological Decontamination.
      • FEMA will be escorting container shipments from Oak Ridge.
   3. Transportation:
      • No report.
   4. Finance:
      • No report
   5. Old Business:
      • Janet Murrill presented two proposals for the LEPC web site design. A motion was made to accept the proposal from Terry Byrd Web Design. Motion passed.
   6. New Business:
      1. Keith Yahr from ORNL presented on overview of the CY 2008 Oak Ridge National Laboratory full participation exercise. There will be two exercises on February 13 and April 2 leading up to the full participation exercise on June 3 and 4. The exercises will be testing, for the fist time, recovery actions that would occur following the initial event.
      2. A sign-up sheet was circulated for committee participation in 2008.
