Anderson County LEPC
Executive Committee Meeting
September 9, 2008

1. Call to Order:  Joe Inman called the meeting to order.  Minutes of the August 5th meeting were approved as amended.

2. Treasurer’s Report: No deposits or expenditures in August.

3. Committee Reports.

Community Awareness:
• No Emergency Management Forum this year.
• The Local Oversight Committee has written a letter to DOE asking for the Emergency Management Forums to continue.
• LEPC attendees suggested that the LEPC also send a letter to DOE requesting the forums continue.
• The Local Oversight Committee had a Board of Directors meeting with TEMA

Emergency Response:
• No report

Transportation:
• No report

Finance:
• Annual audit will be conducted in October.

4. Old Business:
None

5. New Business:
Site Specific Advisory Board will present at the October meeting.

Susan Gawarecki asked if this committee had a list of objectives.  The group suggested getting the fire departments and TVA involved again.

6. The next meeting is scheduled for October 7, 2008.
