Received two (2) checks, these are the last for this year. Reviewed Treasurer’s Report as presented by Janet Murrill (report attached).

Committee Report - Community Awareness

Discussion:
National Neighborhood Night Out, August 11, 2011 at Bissell Park.
Secret City Festival, June 17- 18, 2011 Action items:

Committee Report - Emergency Response -
Discussion: American Red Cross (ARC) still responding to April tornado and hail event in the East Tennessee region.

EMA:
TEMA will not receive 2011 hurricane evacuees. Brought for review the initial LEPC information package. Brought for review new by-laws.
Received approval of Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan.
June 16, 2011 meeting to finalize Hazard Mitigation Plan and submit to TEMA. Then await FEMA’s approval and finalize.
No “response” actions in the Plan.

Committee Report – Transportation -
Discussion: List of historical “issues” for Anderson County was distributed for review. - Majority of the issues relate to DOE or DOE Contractor related incidents.

Committee Report – Finance - By-Laws Review
Discussion:
Still have not heard from Joe Inman to determine if he will continue on Finance Committee.
- How do we still collect funds and how to use them?
- Previous Expenditures: Norfolk Southern Exercise; Wally Wise Guy Program & Costume (sheltering-in-place program presented to K-6); weather radios for nursing homes & hand held Rad monitors for Anderson Fire Dept.

New By-Laws Include: Community Awareness; Newspaper Articles, Press Releases in newspaper & Emergency Management Forum.

New Business -
Discussion: No July 2011 meeting. Committee Sign-Ups, August 2, 2011. Review By-Laws, August 2, 2011.

- Effective August 1, 2011 the new Contractor at ETTP: UCOR (URS/CH2MHill/Oak Ridge)
- August 18, 2011, Anderson County Health Department conducting Drive-Thru POD at RSCC
- September 8, 2011: EM Forum, Y-12’s New Hope Center (Theme: 10 Years After September 11th
